Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
From Toronto basements to sold-out stadiums around the world, Rush is one of Canada’s most
iconic bands. With over 40 million records sold worldwide, they are widely regarded as one of
rock and roll’s greatest acts.
An extraordinary collector’s item for fans, this original “Vapor Trails” tour poster (13 1/2" x 23") is
signed in silver metallic paint pen across the front by all three main band members: Geddy Lee,
Neil Peart and Alex Lifeson. The signatures were obtained at a private event in Seattle, and the poster remains exquisitely preserved. The piece is accompanied by two LOAs; one confirming the Seattle signing and a JSA LOA.
This particular poster design highlights two Texas stops on the 2002 tour; San Antonio and The
Woodlands, two of three Texas dates from the band’s 67-show itinerary. In addition to the band
signatures, the poster is also signed at the bottom by its acclaimed graphic artists, Macrae and
Bob Masse.
Rush’s Vapor Trails Tour marked a powerful return to the stage, launching on June 28, 2002, in
Hartford, Connecticut, and concluding on November 23, 2002, at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil. That historic finale was recorded and released as the Rush in Rio live album and
DVD, and featured the largest audience ever for a Rush headlining concert—60,000 fans in São
Paulo, Brazil.
