Comprehensive collection of mementos from Bun’s days in Rhode Island with the Reds of the International-American Hockey League circa the late-Thirties and onward. Included is a two-page typed welcome letter from the Reds on team letterhead signed by president and manager Jean Dubuc and a small studio photo of Bun in his Reds uniform (3.5" x 5.5"). Also in this lot: vintage 1951 team celebration photograph after the franchise’s 1950-51 "Grand Slam", an oversized Easter card with cartoon images of each member of the team as hens (in very good condition) and nine old Western Union and Canadian Pacific telegrams to Bun (mostly in his position as coach) with two from the Rangers’ Lester Patrick, dating back to the 1930’s. From the personal collection of Hall-of-Famer Bun Cook with an accompanying letter of authenticity.
