Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Bryan Trottier's game-used skates and hockey pants highlight this lot of the HOF center's Penguins equipment. From Trottier's personal collection, these Bauer Supreme Custom 1000 skates exhibit loads of game use with worn-through fabric exposing the hard plastic inner shell at the inside edge of the toe. He may have even used these skates through his coaching days judging by the Avalanche blade protectors. The mid-1990s Penguins logo sits on the left leg of Trottier's black CCM Supra hockey pants, which have his #19 handwritten in black marker on the tag inside the rear. Eight game-used wood stick blade inserts with taped blades include six Kohos stamped "Jagr", a TPS stamped "Trottier" and a Canadien blade. Trottier's #19 is screened on three sides of his Penguins equipment bag. Another #18 Penguins equipment bag is included. Also included are Jofa shinguards, pair of Bauer Supreme Custom 3000 boots with roller blades mounted and three more pairs of skates, Penguins training suit and windbreaker, and a practice jersey. Comes with Bryan Trottier's signed LOA.
