Hall of Famer Brett Hull became the sixth member of the 700-goal club on February 10, 2003. This awesome star-shaped Tiffany & Co. crystal award was presented by the NHL to the Golden Brett in commemoration of the trigger-happy right wing’s milestone goal. Set up by Red Wings teammates Pavel Datsyuk and Sergei Fedorov, Hull drove a one-timer under San Jose goalie Evgeni Nabokov’s pads in Detroit’s 5-4 win against the Sharks at Joe Louis Arena. Beautifully preserved NHL milestone award engraved with Hull’s name and the goal date and game result stands a shade under 8” at its tallest and measures 3 3/4" x 5 5/8” at the widest portions of its five sides. Comes with Brett Hull’s signed LOA.
“Brett Hull, Detroit Red Wings, Congratulations on your 700th NHL Goal, February 10, 2003, San Jose 4 at Detroit 5, Gary B. Bettman and the National Hockey League” reads the etching on the star-shaped face at the top of this solid and impressive crystal piece with Tiffany & Co. on the bottom. It stands a shade under 8” tall at its peak. The five-sided base measures 3 3/4" by between 3 1/2", at its narrowest, and 5 5/8”, at its widest.
