Brett Hull’s 500th Goal jersey! With the 26th hat trick of his career, Brett joined his legendary father Bobby Hull as a member of the exclusive 500-goal club. The Golden Brett’s 1996-97 St. Louis Blues game-worn alternate captain’s jersey is video-matched to Brett right after he scored his 500th goal on December 22, 1996 at the Kiel Center against Los Angeles goalie Stephane Fiset. Brett became the 24th member of the 500-goal club, joining the Golden Jet, who scored 610 NHL goals, as the only father and son tandem in the elite group. The video-match clearly shows the black mark to the left of the “A” on the left breast and the vertical black mark beyond the far right of the nameplate near the junction of the back shoulder and right sleeve seams. “Custom Crafted Blues 1st Set 1996-97 Season” patch is screened inside the rear tail along with a white Bluenote logo with “12” written on it in lightly faded black marker. Stitching has let go on the upper right corner of the NHL Center Ice tagging in the back of the neck, which has Starter and “B. Hull” tagging below it. More great game wear shows in black marks on the front, back and both sleeves, board burns with paint transfer on both sleeves and unrepaired burn holes, stitching that has let go on the custom modified cuffs, board burns and blue paint transfer on the right rear tail, and fabric pulls. A museum-worthy piece, this one-of-a-kind milestone gamer comes with Brett Hull’s signed LOA.
