This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Yellow Sweden jersey was worn by Hall-of-Famer Borje Salming in international competition in the early-1970s. Salming competed in the 1972 world championships when Sweden claimed bronze in Prague. The following year he helped lead his country to silver in Moscow when he contributed four goals and six assists in 10 games. Blue leatherette "Tre Kronor" crowns are sewn onto the front, the same material used for the #5 on the back and both sleeves. Faded original blue lace remains tie-down collar and "Liga" manufacturer's tag is sewn into the back of the neck. Stick mark on the lower right front evokes nice game use, with a dime-sized hole in the doubled hem and three unrepaired holes on the back side of the left seam also to note. Comes with Borje Salming's signed LOA.
