Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
The longest serving captain in Los Angeles Kings franchise history, wearing the prestigious "C" for 9 seasons and counting, Anze Kopitar is about to complete his 18th NHL season at the time of this writing. The Slovenian has also represented his nation religiously throughout his career, including at the World Championships, World Cup of Hockey ad Winter Olympics. These gloves were worn by two-time Lady Byng Memorial Trophy winner and Stanley Cup champion in 2023-24. Bauer Pro Series models in solid black with white and grey trim, "Kopitar" is embroidered to each. The pair show nice game-use, with some wear to the outer fingers and darkening to each palm - more so on the left glove. The left glove also has a single black marker dot to the left of the Bauer logo on the wrist pad, while the right glove has two black marker dots to the right of the Bauer logo on the wrist pad. A hologram has been added to the left glove that matches the hologram affixed to the accompanying COA from the Kings.
