Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Playing three seasons with Dynamo Moscow in his native Russia before making his NHL debut with the Winnipeg Jets in 1992-93, Alexei Zhamnov starred for five different clubs in the world's biggest league, including just 24 games for Boston in his final season. This photo-matched Bruins jersey was worn by the current coach of HC Spartak Moscow in 2005-06. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the reverse hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with the classic Bruins team crest, “10” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Game-wear is light and includes a few puck and stick marks over the front and sleeves. Getty Image #56477794 (December 17, 2005) has been matched to the dark mark near the team crest, to the dark round mark near the left seam, and to the extended black thread near the bottom within the team crest. A patch from MeiGray numbered “C01048” is affixed to the inside hem near a year swatch, and according to the company’s population report, this jersey is a "White Set 2” specimen.
