Edmonton Oilers Auction 2005
Ce lot est fermé pour enchérir. Enchère terminée le
It only took the Edmonton Oilers five games to move past the Winnipeg Jets in the opening series of 1987-88 post-season play. The Oilers would get their revenge on the previous year by sweeping the Calgary Flames, who finished first in the regular season, in four straight games to capture the Smythe Division Championship. Direct from the rafters of the Edmonton Coliseum, now Rexall Place, we offer the original Smythe Division Championship banner, hung to celebrate and commemorate the Edmonton Oilers 1987-88 post-season title. This massive double-sided orange nylon banner measuring approximately 4 by 12 feet, proudly displays the team logo with "NHL Smythe Division" above and "Champions 87-88" below. All logos, lettering and numbering have been individually applied to this historical one-of-a-kind display. From the archives of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club, with accompanying letter of authenticity on team letterhead signed by Oilers General Manager Kevin Lowe.
