The culmination of a great hockey career is marked by election to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Bobby Hull and fellow Chicago Black Hawks legend Stan Mikita were inducted along with Montreal Canadiens great Ken Dryden and Boston Bruins coach and GM Harry Sinden as part of the Hall’s Class of 1983. One year earlier, Yvan Cournoyer, Emile Francis, Rod Gilbert and Norm Ullman entered the Hall as the Class of 1982. These two remarkable groupings of inductees from the early-1980s are celebrated with their respective Hockey Hall of Fame Dinner medallions, each of which comes with its original presentation case. The 1982 medallion is gold-colored while the 1983 medallion is copper-colored. These 2”-diameter metal medallions display the date of the gala dinner affair and the names of that specific year’s inductees. The Hall of Fame’s logo and National Hockey League Hall of Fame Dinner is on the back.
