Parkhurst cards dominate/highlight this shoebox-like find and we’ll go chronologically, with (11) low grade 1951-52s featuring Terry Sawchuk (P) and Allan Stanley (F) rookies, the former with two clipped corners. Cards of Geoffrion (P), Delvecchio (VG) and Schmidt (VG) are among (20) '52-53s, while 80 of 100 '53-54s include RCs of Beliveau (P), Bathgate (VG) and Howell (VG), with Horton (P) present but no other key cards and condition from P to VG. A '54-55 set is shy of just one common, with a tape stain affecting most backs and Lucky Premium backs for Bower and Sasakamoose RCs. Some 50 duplicates are mighty rough, while three dozen '51-52 Laval Dairy (QSHL) cards are mostly G to VG. A '58-59 Parkie of Henri Richard is in an early KSA holder labeled "7-NM", while '93-94 Parkhurst Missing Link cards autographed by Howe and Beliveau carry some weight. More hockey and some football and baseball cards are described on our website.
Topps hockey cards include three '64-65 tall boys; 2-Tremblay (EX), 22-DeJordy (VG, with a personalized autograph) and 99-Stewart (G), while most of (21) '65-66s are affected by back damage, including Howe, Horton, Bower, Keon and Hall. Sticker stamps from '70-71 however are quite nice (mostly EX or better), with HOFers Beliveau, P. Esposito, Mikita, Mahovlich, Keon and Ratelle among them. Some low grade pre-war cards are present and include a '23-24 V-145-1 Jack Adams RC (#24)(P), five '33-34 OPCs (Ace Bailey, Tiny Thompson and Ebbie Goodfellow RCs are P) and two '35-36 OPCs; 82-S. Mantha (G) and 91-Pusie (F). As for football cards, there are (32) 1964 Topps CFL cards in the VG neighborhood, including Parker, Kapp and Patterson, while a Reggie Jackson 1969 Topps RC (G) and over three dozen OPCs from the late-'60s and early-'70s feature some star power. Two Nolan Ryans from '71 (EX, VG+) are most noteworthy, with Aaron, Mays, Seaver and Bench also appearing. A few miscellaneous surprises are tossed onto the pile which is sure to keep the new owner busy, busy.
